I'm updating a "Special Events Checklist" White Paper I produced several years ago, and that 32-page document includes many pages with bulleted lists. The lists have 'Break Heads' & 'Sub-Heads'. I'm talking about pages & pages with bulleted lists, many which could include 10-25 bullets per sub-head... or more. My earlier PDF includes bullets in black, but I want to change the "bullet color" to something more complementary to the overall theme color & the individual page-color. I tried to copy & paste the bullet device -- the basic round bullet -- with the color coding included, but when I inserted the 'copy & paste' pick-up in the "Find & Replace" window, the only thing showing was the 'bullet', with the space I included before the bullet and the space I included after the bullet. No coding for the color was included.
ON TOP OF THAT... I tested with just one "Replace" command, and WP 21 put the keyboard exclamation mark ( ! ) in place of the specific bullet... and, of course, no color.
I think WP should 'refine' the "Find & Replace" functionality by incorporating a way to replace black 'Bullets' with specific color 'Bullets'. In the case of the document I'm modifying now, I will have to MANUALLY replace probably 100-200 or more bullets... one bullet at a time.
