Spam pop-up blanked by AdBlock but then freezes WordPerfect

When I close WordPerfect, a WP-sponsored spam pop-up is blocked by AdBlock, so I can't actually see the WP ad, but then WP freezes up and must be forced shut using the Task Manager.

It seems counterproductive to spam your own customers who've already paid you money for your product and then annoy them by freezing your own product so it won't close nor work.
