Saving a PDF of an edited doc. used to "Replace existing file". Now, WP crashes

I love WordPerfect - have been an avid user since version 4.2, now have 2021 but I have to go to delete a PDF file before I can save an edited version. WP used to offer the option, "Do you want to replace the existing file?" This was much more convenient.
