Inconsistency of "move word left" and "select word left" commands

When a word is separated at the end of a line by Auto Hyphen EOL and the cursor is at the end of the word in the new line, "Ctrl Arrow Left" and "Ctrl.Shift Arrow Left" will move / select only up to the beginning of the second part of the word, not to the beginning of the whole word. The Auto Hyphen EOL seems to cause the program to treat the two halves of the separated word as two separate words. Same is true the other way around (for the first half of the word on the previous line) for "Ctrl Arrow Right" and "Ctrl.Shift Arrow Right".
