Maybe you changed the user interface. To reset it to the WordPerfect user interface, use Tools --> Workspace Manager. (The WordPerfect Classic (DOS) mode tends to be blueish.)
If that doesn't work, you'll have to use Reveal Codes to delete the offending code (maybe in the document style).
