The Quattro Pro formats aren't well supported and are heading to format obsolescence. Switch the native format of Quattro Pro to XLSX so it can open and edit Microsoft Excel files without any compatibility issues. Using OOXML as a core format will guarantees the highest compatibility with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files (.docx, .xlsx, and .pptx).
Beware. WP 2021 cannot import address book Outlook 2012, 2016, or 365. Corel stated in the WP 2021 setup it can import addresses from the outdated Outlook 97/98/2000/XP. No mention of Outlook 2012, 2016, or 365. Even when the import is successful it does not import all the fields in Outlook specially the addresses!!!!!!!!!!!!
If WP9 can do it, how come an updated version cannot. Very disappointed old user of WP since DOS, I guess i have to go back to WP9.
I think that compatibility with Microsoft Office is urgently required.
Quattro Pro surely needs better interoperability with Excel.
But switching the native format is a bad idea because WordPerfect and Word represent very different philosophies of word processing and printing. Both file formats are necessary. Its similar - albeit to a lesser extent - with Presentations and Quattro Pro.
