Sometimes I need to add images or a graph to a table in WP. To do so now I have to print the table, scan it and then work on it in PSP. I want to be able to take a table or even a whole doc page in WP and convert it to an image format such as png or bmp (just as we can do so for pdf format now within WP). That way I won't have to sacrifice image quality by having to scan something before I can open it in PSP. I would also like to be able to open a page in pdf format directly in PSP for the same reason and then convert it to another format. This would be a rare feature and I bet other users would appreciate it as well.
PDFill lets you specify the resolution. Just giv it a try ;-)
I was the one that originally posted this suggestion. I wanted to add that I need any such tool to allow for setting the DPI. I need images at a resolution of 600 dpi (pixels per inch). And thanks for the tips, Frank. I was not aware of any of those options but suspect they all produce images of a lower DPI than I require.
LibreOffice can open WordPerfect files and export any document to say PNG
You can also take snapshot with Lightning.
Being able to export a selection to say PNG or JPEG would be great :-)
In the meantime, you might try a virtual PDF printer driver like "PDFill FREE PDF & Image Writer" which can "print" to PDF and images.
