WordPerfect is absolutely useful, but the GUI looks old. The pull down menus are fine, but you should improve and modernize the look.
I like the consistent look. I don't want to go through a learning curve everytime I upgrade the software. It pleases me that my familiar GUI is the same this year as it was last year.
