WP 2021will not merge a complete numerical field with custom date format mmddyy from a Microsoft Excel Worksheet .xlsx file. I have no trouble doing so with WP X9. If I change the Excel file to a Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Worksheet .xls file WP 2021 handles the merge properly. I'm confused as to why I have to revert to an older .xls file when using WP 2021 when WP X9 handled the merge properly.
