Inserts random tab characters when clicking the document

When clicking anywhere in a document, WP inserts random tab characters. This fucks up the formatting and makes it impossible to maintain proper text flow in large documents. Not only is this completely pointless behaviour that serves no purpose whatsoever, but it is also extremely aggravating as it means we have to trawl through documents to remove all the unnecessary tab stops.This can only be considered a bug as it is not useful or helpful for anything (and thus not a feature). There is also no (apparent) way to disable this misbehaviour.
