Other programs, such as Family Tree Maker, include a "Companion Guide" (i.e., a teaching guide to the program's functions) as a PDF file on the installation disks. The Help function is fine, but you have to know what you are looking for. There really isn't a training source for new users.
Did you try the "guidebook" which contains the tutorials? It's available on the Help menu or via the Refeence Center.
