New and improved content (templates, macros, images, etc)
We'd like to see WordPerfect shipping with more/newer content including templates, macros, clipart, etc.Please put your specific idea/requests in the comments as to which and what content you'd like to have.
Also, it appears that you can't edit or add keywords to the clipart that comes with the version of WPO you have installed, or add or change the categories associated with the built in clipart. You can do this with clipart you have imported into Scrapbook. You should be able to do this with all the clipart, since the keywords provided by Corel are often not very specific or detailed.
As I mentioned, I've been spot-checking the clipart images that come with different versions of WordPerfect. Today, I got around to WordPerfect Suite 8. Despite being the oldest version I've got, it has the highest quality graphics of any of the other versions I've checked. This doesn't redound to Corel's credit. C'mon Corel. If nothing else, at least make the graphics collection that came with WP8 available to all users, regardless of what version they have.
The clipart that comes with WordPerfect Office is a bit of a mess. It seems that each new version has a different selection of images. The file names frequently give no indication of what is in the file (e.g., WP10994, G1423145), and the quality of the images is quite variable. For instance, there is a very good image of a telescope in WPO 2002 (telescp2.wpg) that is missing from more recent versions. Indeed WPO 2002 has an entire category of images (Science) that is absent from WPO 2021. Clipart from earlier versions (at least the ones I have been able to examine: versions 2002, X3, and X5) lack searchable keywords. You can add the images to the Scrapbook in WPO 2021, but you have to add your own keywords to each file individually.
In short, please Corel, give us a good selection of high quality clipart images (like telescp2.wpg) that gets better with each new version of WPO.
