I am very disappointed that (at least since version X5 that I am aware of), you do not provide a decent import or link function in WP for QP spreadsheets. They come across very messy and require a lot of manual adjustment to make them usable. It is so bad that I do not feel that Corel should advertise the ability to import spreadsheets, especially since it does not work within your own product. Some of the issues are:1 - Footers and headers to not come across.2 - Page setup does not work, unless you do a header or a footer first3 - If your imported file is landscape, you have to set up a document in that format and margin requirements, before doing the import.4 - If you just import the QP spreadsheet, column lines within the table are bold and unable to be corrected easily. First saving a QP spreadsheet as a Lotus WK4 brings across a much better looking and easier document to work with. Either way, if the data in a cell is left or right justified, there is no “buffer” between the column lines and the data.5 - Whatever row widths you have set in QP are lost in the import to WP. WP changes all columns to its equally divided default width based upon how many columns are in the spreadsheet. If you create a WP document as a table and make all columns that width needed for each column, they are ignored on import and all go to the equally divided default widths.I have worked with the Office Community, Charles Cork’s excellent book, Barry McDonald’s WordPerfect Universe web site. No one of them has a decent way to do the import. In addition, I am not talking about spreadsheets with complex formulas - these are simple data spreadsheets. I do not consider the above issues a “wish” list, but critical to going forward with a first class application that one would be willing to buy/upgrade.
